My relationship with Ras Al Khaimah began in a beautiful evening in a meeting with HH Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the present Ruler of the RAK and the Member of the Federal Supreme Council of United Arab Emirates.
His open and smiling persona, and the warm handshake cemented my mystical attraction to the landscape that I was already in love with since i bought my first car in UAE and took it for test drive on the less travelled landscape in way back in 2005.

Ras Al Khaimah made the surge in the region’s art scene and RAK Fine Art Festival was inaugurated on the Jan 31 in 2020. I was invited to show my artwork at the inauguration. The surreal landscape that reminded of the past with the commanding watch tower of the Al Jazeera AL Hamra village lit up with the colorful LED and artists from all over the globe.
HH Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi has been the patron of the Ras Al Khaimah Art Festival and has the vision of transforming Ras Ak Khaimah into the Art & Tourism hub. His vision has already started that process and is gaining momentum over the past few years.
In absence of any speed cameras or traffic on the highway, i would routinely drive my BMW 740 to its limits while listening to the refined notes of the music from its Blaupunkt speakers. These were my inspiration drives and i was addicted to them since my years in Delhi, where i would habitually drive around the fort Tughalaqabad made by the Mohammed bin Tuqhlaq who made that into the capital of India at one point of time.
By a strange similarity of experience, RAK also has a fort
The weather and and the mysterious feel of the abandoned village collaborate to create AN unforgettable experience.
